Hospital volunteers average 3-4 hours per week. We ask for a minimum of 100 hours or one year commitment.
Some programs have minimal age:

Volunteers complete a general orientation and on-the-job training for their specific role.
Volunteers must complete annual education modules that are provided in an online format.
Dependability and attendance are important to the daily operations and success of the services we provide so we ask for your commitment. However, we understand there may be times when you have to pause your volunteer service. Advanced notice is appreciated.
A Corewell Health Volunteer Badge must be worn whenever you are volunteering. There are designated volunteer uniforms for most roles. Uniforms are purchased from the volunteer office or online. Guidelines are discussed during the onboarding process.
Yes, we offer a variety of opportunities for students to gain experience in a healthcare setting.
